As a vegetarian, dining in France can be challenging. I was so appreciate of Mozzato's very vegetarian friendly menu. I was in Lyon for two nights and I loved Mozzato so much that I came here both nights.
Their stratchiatella is phenomenal. Make sure you order it with a side of tomatoes and focaccia. The burrata, ricotta gnocchi, and ravioli are all delicious.
I loved Mozzato and would highly recommend it.
The rankings don't lie! This place is outstanding, but small and hard to get into so make a reservation. We came in with a large group and pretty much ordered everything on the menu. The pastors and gnocchi really stood out. I could eat there and gnocchi over and over again. Their mozzarella is also delicious in any form. Buratta, mozzarella tomato bread the two best, but really all of it. And make sure you save room for dessert. You'll probably want your own. I shared and found myself fighting for bites. Go for the dark chocolate budine (pudding/mousse like).
It was uncomfortably warm in here, but the service was great. This is the only Italian food we had in France and it was enjoyable, but not necessarily exceptional. I'd probably go back if I were in the neighborhood (which is sensational) and craving pasta.
